Often copied...never equalled!

In the early 1980s, engineers developed a new and revolutionary guitar strap.  The main criterion was ultra-comfort and optimal weight distribution of the instrument.

The result was the No1 Stretch Strap. Amateurs up to absolute top stars were quickly convinced of the advantages of this strap.

The advantages were obvious but a conservative guitarist and bassist had to be convinced first. Bernhard Kurzke and his team presented the unusual strap at countless trade fairs and it quickly had a great effect.

On the first prototypes, the No1 logo was even applied by hand or „potato printing“. First on the belt material and then on the belt ends.

As the belt became more popular, there were of course many requests to produce belts as OEMs. Even a certain Leo Fender sent a request.

Various designs and versions were added.

After very successful decades, things became a little quieter due to unfortunate economic changes. Used straps fetched extremely high prices, on the relevant platforms. If anything could be found at all……

But now the search is over! The No1 Stretch Strap is back!
